The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA)<\/b>, an initiative by UNICEF UK, is a rigorous program that puts the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)<\/b> at the heart of a school’s ethos. The Gold Award is the highest level, demonstrating a deep and lasting commitment to children’s rights. It’s a journey that typically takes several years, starting with the Bronze and Silver awards, and involves a whole-school transformation. For a school to achieve this, it must prove that children’s rights are not just taught in lessons but are truly embedded in every aspect of school life\u2014from the curriculum to playground behaviour and community relationships.<\/p>\n

A Rights-Respecting Culture<\/h3>\n
