Community Clean Up Day (Click for info)

Our Eco-committee would like your help!

Miss Stewart will be hosting a community clean up day on Saturday 23rd February 2019, from 10am-3pm.

The school is working with the Butterfly Conservation Trust to develop wildlife areas in our playground. As such we would appreciate any assistance you could offer in order to prepare the grounds for the upcoming changes.

During our community day, we aim to clear the area behind the school and conduct a litter pick. Can you bring any gardening tools (spades, forks and gardening gloves) that could be useful.

If you may be able to attend, even for an hour, please return your slip (letters will be coming out soon) or contact the school.

Supper and Holiday Club Consultation Event – Wednesday 6th Feb. Click for further information.

Sunnyside Primary is looking to develop an after school Supper and Holiday Club, for families to attend with their children. The aim of this club is to develop our local community involvement around the focus of food and family learning.

We aim to begin this club in mid-February and pilot it for 6 weeks (once per week), until Easter, when we will seek further feedback.

Your views are important to us and we would like to invite you to an evening, where we can exchange ideas and you can have your say on how we should proceed.

We are hosting two, one hour long, sessions on Wednesday 6th February at 3.15pm and 5pm. Following these sessions we will collate the results of the discussions and plan our Supper Club accordingly, with further details to follow.

We have issued a letter to all parents and carers regarding this event. Please return your confirmation ASAP, or let our office know. We would love to see you there!
