This week in Primary 6A
Welcome back to our class blog. We will be sharing what we have been learning about this week, what we enjoyed and what we are looking forward to.
Let us tell you about our week.
Callan- this week was book week.
Carly- we made a book recommendation and wrote an acrostic poem for our friends to read.
Karina- We learned a new spelling rule
Halle- we read with our P3 buddies.
Eilidh- we read our class novel Prince Kaspar.
Colton- we wrote a story all about ourselves to read to our P3 buddies.
Carly- Mrs Doherty gave us books to take home.
Ava- we created a board game linking percentages, decimals and fractions.
Emma- we were learning about linking fractions, decimals and percentages.
Anabia- we played around the world as a numeracy starter.
Ben- we played sum dog.
Tyler- we completed textbook questions on decimals and fractions.
Ben- we answered riddles on decimals and fractions.
Ava- we played a team game on finding the matching pair to decimals, fractions and percentages.
Health and Wellbeing:
Emily- we met with our health and wellbeing group and made posters to put around the school.
Harvey- in PE we played net games.
Lacey- there was a superstar assembly.
William- we practiced our underarm serve in badminton.
Emily- we learned how to meditate in our RME class as we were learning about Buddhism.
Eilidh- in Spanish we learned how to say our birthday.
Ava- in German we revised old vocab.
William- we created portholes in our Titanic lesson.
Eilidh- we did our check in every morning.
