This week in Primary 6A

Welcome back to our class blog. We will be sharing what we have been learning about this week, what we enjoyed and what we are looking forward to.

Literacy:

Erin – We have been creating a shape shifting poem.

Lucas – We have been learning about vaccine passports.

Grace – this week we have learned our new spelling rule.

Jamie-Lee – We have experimented with poetry.

Mah Noor – We read more of the Lost words project.

We visited the library.

Emily – We wrote about our opinions.

Anabia – we have read more of our group novels.

We were also discussing what we read in our books.

Ben – We revised punctuation by playing games on the IPad.

Erin – we answered comprehension questions about our books.

Eilidh – We have been continuing to read our personal novels.

Harvey – We learned about VCOP.

Numeracy:

Lacey – We were thinking about time durations and thinking what we could do in the time.

Emily – we made a new game to revise learning in rounding.

Alexis – We completed a mastery in maths task on data handling.

Harvey – we completed an end of topic assessment.

Callan – we completed the mental maths challenge.

William – We were learning about rounding to the nearest 2dp, 100, 1dp and 1000.

Health and Wellbeing:

Callan – in PE we learned some basketball skills.

Halle – In PE we played a game to learn dribbling skills.

Karina – we played basketball.

Eilidh – every morning we complete a check-in to see how everyone is feeling.

Colton – we have fidgets to keep us relaxed in class if we are stressed.

Eilidh – in assembly we learned about being good role models.

Emma – We learned about our responsibilities as vice captain and captains.
