Class Charters
At the beginning of each school year, every class creates a Class Charter together. This is a shared agreement developed through open discussion, where children and their teacher work together to decide how they want their classroom to feel, how they will treat one another, and how they will learn best together. Everyone is involved in the process and every voice matters!
The Class Charter becomes an important part of daily school life. It is referred to throughout the year to remind children of the values they agreed on together, helping to build positive relationships, encourage kindness, and support a strong sense of belonging within the class. By creating and revisiting their charter, children learn about responsibility, teamwork, and respect for others.
