Data handling (also referred to as statistics) is the process of collecting, displaying and interpreting data or information, such as the most popular flavour of ice cream in a class, using tables, tally charts, pictograms, block diagrams, bar charts, line graphs and pie charts.
This is often introduced at Early level with pictograms and developed further as children move through more advanced levels of their education.
