in computing science  we have been learning about hardware, software, Input, output, peripheral, RAM and ROM, main memory and backing store we have also been preparing for a test

So far in Computing Science we have been doing Peripherals , Output and Input , Hardware , Software , Backing Store , RAM and ROM while preparing for a test.

In HTML/Web Pages
I have been coding games like flippy bird, hot whiles and minecraft.
Input & output devices

We learned about HTML/web pages in computing science. We learned how to make websites/code and we added links

in computing science we learned to code  and coding a character.There was a website we were coding on its called code.uk.org and we coded some games on it.

We learned about computer systems like mouse,keyboard,speaker.We made presentations on them we also searched about them what they do.

We were learning about output & input devices.We learned how they worked like mouse,keyboard,computer,speaker,headphones.

In computing science  we have been learning about hardware,software,RAM,ROM and peripherals.we also have a test coming up soon and we are doing some revision to practice for the test. we have to copy some revision work and then copy it on the computer so we have a spare copy and we are taking the paper copy home with us. we also learned about input devices,output devices,main memory and backing store.

In computing science we Learned HTML/Web Pages and how to make websites /code websites. we learned to create a website and write on it we did this by coding a document and then transforming it into a website

We also learned coding skills and how to code a character to move or do instructions we improved our coding skills by going onto the uk.code.org and practicing coding games or adventures

We’ve learned computer systems and what they all do and different ways you can cool down a computer.

We also learned how much parts cost they can be up to about £5000 pounds for one part but these parts are essential for a computer to work

input devices can store stuff or say it out so you can here it. Input devices  put stuff into the computer e.g a keyboard puts words or search stuff. Output devices read things out loud or you can take it with you e.g earphones allow you to hear words from the computer

We done a systems block diagram and it shown us what input or output devices are like and how they operate it shows us the way things go and what they do and how they link into the computer and why they are so important

Computing science also taught us presentation skills e.g PowerPoint. This helped us to set out presentations correctly and how to set out presentations in the process helping us for the future.

In PE at the moment we are doing dodge ball and it is very fun. At the start of each lesson the teacher goes over what the target is and how we can achieve it. For the past few periods of PE the target has been to understand what determination means and i think i know. Determination is when you are determined to accomplish your goal. Miss McKay has came up with a very smart system to let us have a variety of different chances in dodge ball, on a Monday we play lots of little games, on a Wednesday we play some little games as a warm up and then a big game and, on a Friday we play one big game for the whole period. Miss McKay has a point system that adds up, and the team with the most points gets a prize. The points work that when you win you get three points when you get set up quickly you get a bonus point and if you be silly you get a point deducted.
