1D3 and 1G3 have been modelling the solar system to get a better idea of what distances are like in space. Working in pairs, pupils had to produce coloured scale pictures of their planets, including any other structures such as rings. The planets were then stuck up along the science corridor with all the distanced from the window (sun) worked out to scale.
