Maths

In maths we have been learning about statistics. using the interactive whiteboard we rolled two dices to see how many times we could get each number from rolling the dice. The number that got rolled the most times was 7. It was rolled 26 times. the only number that never got achieved was 12 because we needed a double 6 witch we never got. Then on Thursday we made a graph to show our results from rolling the dice.

Maths

In class for my staticsI looked at  interpreting information in tally tables bar graphs and pictographs we all so looked at displaying information in tally tables bar graphs and pictographs. For my topic I picked crisps for my topic and worked by my self and I collected all my data by asking my friends what there favourite crisps  where out of the options I gave them. I’ve thought maths was ok this year i have learned a lot of stuff like adding fractions and tacking away fractions.

Home Economics

In Home Economics we worked on our Communication  we watch a video called Bad Food Live, it was about two chefs making mistakes constantly it showed us what they did and why they shouldn’t  do it. After that we reflected on what went wrong during the show. I found at rather easy because I like Communicating with over people.

In October we worked on Summarising Information , We then made a poster about what we had learned . We worked in groups of 4 to complete this task it was also rather easy because i find working in groups easily.

Maths

For my statistics project I looked at my classes favourite fast food place I gathered the data by creating a survey and displaying the information in a frequency table and a bar chart. We than put all our information on a poster and share the findings with the class.

Test warning

The test on the Space topic will be during the week after the February break. As usual, nice kind Mr Wood is providing you with revision notes that cover the main ‘knowledge’ bits of the topic. You also have all the work in your jotter to revise from. Remember the advice you were given about active revision – Read – cover – note – check, underlining  / highlighting key words, construction glossaries  etc.

The revision notes are available below.
