Health and Wellbeing

Health and Wellbeing

Health and Wellbeing is a big focus for us here at Redwell Primary and this year we have lots of fun and interesting activities planned. So far we have got off to a flying start with World Smile Day, Bikeability training, Skiing, Young Leader Training, Flu information and Cool in School, to name a few.

There will be regular Health and Wellbeing focus months and the children throughout the school will take part in lessons and activities that will encourage healthy choices. Our October focus was ‘healthy packed lunches’ and the children used a variety of online games and resources to find out about balanced diets and had opportunities to create their own ideal healthy packed lunch. Please have a look at some of the online resources we used by clicking on the links below.

We will be linking in with national events such as anti-bullying week, ready for winter campaign, dyslexia awareness week, children in need and road safety week. The children will have opportunities to learn more about these in their classes in the coming weeks.

Please keep checking back for more updates and see our school Twitter page for updates too!
