Working Across Stages

Good Morning 😊

This week we have been working with the boys and girls from different classes. This morning we went along to the green wing to see the P4’s Viking Exhibition. The P4’s have worked very hard to make a variety of models based on their learning from their Vikings topic. We really liked the models and loved asking about how they were made. The children from P4 shared their work confidently and were very proud of themselves. We also loved that the children used lots of natural materials to create their models. A big thumbs up from P1S! 👍🏽

We have also been working with the boys and girls from P5 to create posters all about Sport Relief. P1 and P5 are in charge of organising it for the whole school, during Sport Relief week next week. We are going to organise some activities to make the boys and girls in our school move more next week.

Here are some photos of us working cooperatively to make posters about something we have been busy organising. Our posters are about our Dress Down Day on Thursday 22nd of March (next Thursday).

All pupils in Redwell can come to school dressed in Sporty clothes. The cost is 50p per person and £1 for a family. No football tops please. Thank you 😊.

Lastly, we were asked to go along to the P6 Young Leader training. We did a variety of activities, led completely by the boys and girls from P6B. We had lots of fun and think the P6 pupils will be excellent Young Leaders next year.

As well as all this super learning with our friends from other classes, we have also started learning about money in Maths, adding suffixes onto the end of words in Reading, and writing about our experiences when visiting a shop during our Writing lesson. Phew, what a busy week! 😴

Have a lovely weekend everyone and please comment if you have read our blog today.

P1S 😀

What have P1S been up to this week?

Good morning everyone and thank you for visiting out blog.

“In Reading, we have been making a ‘wanted’ poster to help find Red Hat Rob” – Riley

“We have been learning a new sound. We learned the ‘ir’ sound” – Bryce
