Week ending 27th of April

We have been learning about parts of flowers and their lifecycle – Beth

We have been learning a new sound – ire for fire! fire! – Rory

We have been learning about how plants grow and seed dispersal. We acted out the different parts of a plant’s lifecycle – Michael and Cameron

We are learning about measurement in maths. We have been using the sandpit and practising our long jump and measuring who could jump the furthest – Hanna

We have been learning about gymnastics in our gym lessons. I can now do frog jumps – Jared

We have been learning about Redwell’s Wildlife  – Kayla

We have been painting parts of a plant to make our own display – Georgia

We have been learning about writing a step by step guide of how a plant grows – Megan

We have been learning about characters in the story called Goldilocks and the Three Bears – Bryce

We have now got some chick eggs in the Yellow Wing! – Alexis

We had Mrs McCappin in to teach us all about how to look after the eggs in a special machine called an incubator. Hopefully, in three weeks time, we will have some baby chicks hatching! We are SO excited!

We need to:

  • remember not to touch the incubator
  • wash our hands before touching the eggs
  • wash our hands after touching the eggs
  • ensure the temperature is at 37.5 degrees

Have a lovely weekend! 🙂
