Good afternoon everyone.

This week we have learned the w, th and z sounds. We have been blending them together to read new words. We have also been using our Fred Fingers to spell words in our new red jotters.

In Science we have been learning to order the planets in our Solar System. We know the closest planet to the sun is Mercury. We know that we live on planet Earth. We know that planets orbit the sun.

In Maths we have been learning about time. We have been putting all the jobs that we do at school in the correct order. We have also been counting in 10’s to 100.

We have been using our Fred Fingers to spell words and write independently!

Primary 1S have been learning about Road Safety this afternoon. We know that we need to stop, look and listen and only cross if it’s safe to do so.
