Learning to tell the time!

In Primary 1F we are learning about time. By the end of Primary 1 we would like to be able to-

  • Say the days of the week in order
  • Say the months of the year in order
  • Describe the changes in the seasons
  • Tell the time (o’clock and half past)

Today we were learning to tell the time on an analogue clock. We learned a clock has a face and 2 hands!

8th – 12th October

Hi and welcome to this final blog of the first term.

What a fabulous term it has been. There has been so much learning happening. We have learned new letters and numbers. We have learned how to write our names.

We have enjoyed our topic on toys.

We have been keeping fit through going to P.E. weekly.

We have enjoyed singing with Mrs Pennie.

We have done so much stuff. We have really enjoyed ourselves!

Have a fabulous Holiday from all of us in Primary 1F.

1st – 5th October 2018

We had fun with our writing this week. We painted background fields for our scarecrows. We played with the puppet theater. We wrote about our Scarecrows

This week we have learnt two new sounds ‘n’ and ‘p’ . We made a super job of writing the letters for the new sounds we have learnt.

We also have enjoyed taking part in a whole school Harvest celebration.

As a class we went on an adventure with Aunty Mabel and discovered how carrots get from being just a seed to on our plates.

We then had a go at painting our very own carrot. The results were impressive.

Have a great weekend!
