We have been very busy in P2F this week, and have been learning a lot.
In Maths, we have been learning how to count up to 20, and then how to count backwards down from 20 again!
In writing, we were learning about describing words (adjectives) and practising using them in sentences. We used our topic on ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’ book series to help us do this, writing sentences to describe Hamish the cat.
Some of the sentences we thought of were:
“Hamish is a fluffy ginger cat.”
“Hamish is a lazy cat.”
For Health and Wellbeing, we have been thinking about what foods are healthy and unhealthy. We have also been thinking about what makes a good friend, and drawing pictures of the ways we can be good friends to each other at school. Some of the ideas which we had were helping other people if they hurt themselves in the playground, or playing with someone if they’re lonely.
