Singing for Scotland!

Well, the Scottish Assembly was super  and we all enjoyed performing the ‘Jeely Piece ‘ song. This week our homework challenge is to learn and recite a Scottish poem. We are learning ‘Ah Hae A Wee  Dug’ and it is very funny! The Scottish theme carried on as we furthered our knowledge about Rabbie Burns and what happens at one of his suppers. Some of us even indulged at home by eating haggis, neeps and tatties followed by Irn Brew. We liked ‘The Selkirk Grace’ and coloured beautiful pictures of the thistle. The class laughed at some of the names used for the animals, especially the bubblyjock! Do you know what a bubblyjock is?
