Primary have been busy researching 5 different animals that live under the sea. This involved watching clips, listening to powerpoints and participating in class discussions about what we have learned. We also used the important skill of note taking in our IDL jotters. We will be redrafting our notes into sentences throughout this week. Today we started our information leaflets which will be coming home in our Snapshot jotters next week. We have been really enthusiastic about this topic!
Jessica – I liked learning about Anglerfish because they have the lure coming out of their heads. It is really cool because when the fish come too close to it they wonder what the light is. The Anglerfish eats them.
Elise – I liked learning about all the creatures but my favourite was learning about dolphins.
Emily- I liked learning about jellyfish. The biggest jellyfish is called the Lion’s Mane.
Chloe – I liked carrying out our research. It was fun!
Eva – I liked learning about dolphins.
Finn – There are over two hundred kinds of Anglerfish.
Looking forward to seeing snapshot jotters next week.
Primary 3 are looking forward to sharing them at home!
