 Today we were making bird feeders – we all worked really hard and read the instructions well. We used lard, bird food and sultanas in our recipe.

Some of us enjoyed squishing it all together with our hands but some of us chose to use a spoon!

Lots of us did not like the smell of the lard!!

we went on a riddle scavenger hunt out and about in the playground.

We practised writing our spelling words in lots of different ways – fancy letters, pyramid writing – different colours.

Finding a fraction of a number – We used our show me boards to show me how we were working it out!

Busy week this week – Remembrance Day and we all did our 2 minute silence beautifully then drew some gorgeous poppies and had a discussion about the day.

Lots of super division strategies being developed and number work.

Some great super sentence writing really focusing on our connectives and wow words.

Cross Country Challenge and P4 were fantastic – all taking part and really going for it!

Our daily mile has been building up our stamina for running!! Here are some pics of us out running today.

Lots of chat about people we can talk to if we have a problem and what our problems might be. We made a really cool fist of 5 on our hand to put on the wall in class.
