Two classes took a short trip along to see the progress of the construction during the week. First time as a group for about 4 months – it’s been a wee bit wet recently!<\/p>\n

Last time we saw it there were lots of steel frames – they’ve gone and are almost completely covered in brickwork. Big difference!<\/p>\n

Some of the childrens’ parents are involved in the construction as well – they recognised the vans, hence the picture!<\/p>\n

We noticed the Anderson Shelter is still there.<\/p>\n

We also noticed some of the asteroids that helped wipe out the dinosaurs (we know they are just big boulders, but it’s more fun with a good imagination). The children want to keep these as part of outdoor learning\/play – hope the planners and builders read this blog.<\/p>\n

We also went along to the Red Well from where the school gets its name. We are hoping this feature will be restored so that it looks nicer.<\/p>\n
