This week we have been learning our times tables it was fun. One station was on the computers. Another one was playing teachers, we had to quiz each another. There was one on a game called stairs and slides you have to roll the dice and whatever number you land on you have to do the sum that the number is. Another one was Games/puzzles. There were different games and puzzles some were times tables and others were division. Station 5 was bingo we had a times table sheet and a division sheet it was 1 line then 2 lines then a full house.
We are working hard to work cooperatively.

On Wednesday we had an extra music lesson. It was with Mr Jones and two other teachers. One was a guitarist and the other one was a drummer. The first people to go to the guitarist was Kady, Ben, Casey, Megan, Caleb, and Caitlin. The teachers where very nice they where amazing at what they could do. One of them was in a band called Arora. The teachers were called Mr Brown and Mr Roger. We were actualy using a guitar we listened to a song and copied the tune and when we used the drums we had a black mat with a big hard bit in the middle we used it so we could practise before it was our shot to use the drum kit . We really hope we see them again in the future.

The Riderz

On Wednesday the 8th of May the Riderz came to our school(Park Primary). It was incredible! They did lots and I mean it lots of flicks and tricks, they even climbed a ladder on there bikes .The Riderz even handed out two Riderz T shirts .

After the show thry came to shake our hands, it was fun! Then it was our turn to be the Riderz. We got to ride on the Riderz bikes. For the competition we had to go very slowly on their bikes and who ever was the slowest got through to the final. You can see Casey, he did really well. Andrew won he got the second Riderz t shirt. Later on our class got an autograph and we asked questions .They were called Ali, Kayley, Rickey and Duncan.(This is the web site).

Last week we wrote some stories. Some were about Moshi Monsters and One Direction and here are some examples.
“Once there was a little girl called Suki-yaki. She was only five when she started to talk to her mum and dad. Her mum and dad are called Scamp and lady Meowford”. Another one went like this. “One day a boy called Caleb wanted to destroy One Direction.” The main learning intention was to create interesting characters and settings. We also got to choose our audience some of our class choose p7, p1,nursery , p5 and p4/5.

We enjoyed writing these stories because we got to choose what they were about.
