Open Classroom

This week we invited our family and friends to look around our classroom.  We all had places to stand so we could tell our visitors what we had been doing and what a display was all about.

Here we are in our positions.

S and C were telling the visitors about Jog Scotland.

R and M were telling visitors about our golden time stars.

A, E, E and E were at our maths wall and our maths checkout wall.

E and L were at the class timetable and our information board.

R and D  were at the phonics and spelling wall.E and K were at our class charter and the rights wall.

C was at our posters about scottish wildlife.

H was telling people about red deer and how the passengers on the jacobite may have seen red deer from the windows.

H and L were at Stevenson’s rocket telling our visitors facts about this train.

A and J were at the VCOP wall telling people how we use this wall.

C and J were at the boats on the caledonian canal.

B was also at the red deer and he handed out tickets to the visitors with Harris.

We all enjoyed ourselves and we would like to say thank you to everyone who came to our classroom.

  1. Gosh! you are such a busy bunch of children! From spooky costumes to a train journey around Scotland and loads of learning inbetween! I think that you all must be very, very busy (I know that Mrs Petrie is). It was lovely to read all the nice things that your visitors had to say about the super work you ahve all been involved in and now you are starting rehearsals for our nativity play at Christmas time! Good Luck!
