P7F has been very busy this term and one of the things we have been doing is art!

In class we have been doing a number of art projects including:

• WOW Posters, – (Which we have already posted about so you can look out for them!) where we drew and wrote about things in life that make us feel WOW!

• Silhouettes, – (Which we have also posted about!) where we drew around our head and inside them we drew things that made us – us!

• Dream Jars, – (Guess what! We have posted about them!) where we drew our dreams in a jar with our P1 Book Buddies!

• The Class Charter, – (This time we haven’t actually posted about them!) where we drew ourselves and wrote our qualities around us,

• And lots, lots more!

In our art classes we have been making:

• ‘The great wave’ paintings – (Which we have posted about!),
• ‘The great wave’ prints,
• ‘The Scream’ paintings,
• And lots, lots more!

The skills P7F have been developing through art are:

• Hand / eye co-ordination,
• Art skills,
• Art knowledge,
• And having fun!

The main things P7F have learned during art is:

• How to control your brush / pencil,
• How to paint / colour carefully,
• How to develop our art skills.

Art is Ace!
