In Math we have been doing time.
First we were learning how to tell time. So we learnt all the five minute intervals. Then we learnt 1 minute intervals and finally on to different ways to tell the time.
Eg. 09:42 you could say
18 minutes to 10
42 minutes past 9
Nine forty two
Nine forty two AM
Here is a trick to remembering if it is to or past.
The rule is right is past.
Some people went on to calculating speed, distance and time. We used a triangle.
To work out what the distance was we multiplied speed by time.
To work out what the speed was we divided distance by time.
To work out what the time was we divided distance by speed.
Every single day we do a math challenge where Mr Flett gives us maths questions about whatever we are doing in maths.

This was so so fun I loved it
I remember the distance/speed/time formula from my own time at school but the clock time telling method is new
