One of the most important things when creating a story – and for us storytellers, telling a story, is Pacing. I asked the pupils to come up with 5 bulletpoints for the story.
\n1 – the start
\n2 – midpoint between start and middle
\n3 – the middle
\n4 – midpoint between middle and end
\n5 – the end<\/p>\n
Duban is quite a tricky story to do this with as the tale could end after 3 bulletpoints… but most groups summarised it well. Here’s one – <\/p>\n
1) Duban came back from travelling
\n2) He found out that the king was ill
\n3) He healed the King
\n4) Duban was executed because Jafar lied
\n5) Jafar died trying to make a genie<\/p>\n
