Inverurie rail station is the closest railway station to the school . A bus or taxi would then be required to get to Meldrum Academy this will be around a 15 minute journey .

Old Meldrum is on bus route 35/X35 from Aberdeen Union Square and the service takes around 1 hour and is every 30 minutes. From Inverurie the service is less frequent and the journey time is around 15 minutes
