We’ve had a very exciting delivery this week! The polar bears we adopted before the holidays are here. Not real polar bears of course! The polar bears we are helping are from Svalbard,Poland. We were sent some interesting facts too.
The children have been asked to think of a good polar bear name and we will pick one out of a hat tomorrow.
Thank you so much for coming to our sale to buy our biscuits and cakes. We raised £177.37 and after we paid for our ingredients we have £132.37 to send to the WWF to adopt a polar bear. We feel very excited and proud of ourselves!
We are going to have a bake sale in the infant library to make money to adopt a polar bear. This costs at least £36 per class. The polar bears don’t have as much ice to live on anymore because the world is heating up.
Would you like to buy a cake to help the polar bears? We will be opening our shop on Thursday 23rd March at 3.15pm. The children will meet you outside then can come back in with a grown-up to buy a cake. Children will also have the opportunity to buy a cake at playtime on this day for themselves. The cost of each cake will be 50p.
