We can also use a variety of mental and written methods for multiplication and division.\u00a0 An example of which is the grid method below which has helped some groups to multiply 3 digit numbers by to support your child\u2019s learning at home, please encourage them to spend some time each week practising their times-tables \u2013 we continue to do this daily in class as well.\u00a0 Here are weeks, we have been continuing to develop our \u2018reading for information\u2019 skills.\u00a0 We have been taking part in \u2018Blankety Blanks,\u2019 of which you can see an example of below.\u00a0 These tasks help to stretch our vocabulary and encourage us to search for synonyms.\u00a0 Blankety Blanks also encourage teamwork and the discussion of context within short stories or extracts as they Wellbeing<\/u><\/p>\n<p>This term, we have continued to use the SHANARRI indicators to shape our Health and Wellbeing and Drama lessons.\u00a0 In November we focused on being \u2018Active\u2019 and December, we moved onto \u2018Nurtured.\u2019\u00a0 Our most recent lessons have allowed us to discuss the important ingredients that build positive relationships and recognise and talk about how positive relationships can make us feel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-247\"
