Blog \u2013 19.11.21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Literacy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For writing this term, we are writing and creating our own Christmas Story books.\u00a0 We have been discussing how to structure a story that contains two different dilemmas that will engage our readers.\u00a0 We have been looking at Pie Corbett\u2019s Story Mountain to help us plan.\u00a0 We have also been thinking about how to grip our readers from the very first sentence.\u00a0 Once we have created our books, we will be taking them home to share.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Numeracy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the last few weeks, we have been looking at negative numbers.\u00a0 We have created numberlines that contain negative numbers and been calculating the difference between two numbers on the numberline.\u00a0 Next week we will explore where negative numbers are used in real life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Climate Change\u00a0 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Linking into COP-26, we have been discussing climate change by mainly looking at our Carbon Footprints.\u00a0 We looked at the 5 different areas that make up our Carbon Footprint.\u00a0 After looking at the different areas we thought about our school and ourselves, and we created 3 goals
