Glow Data Sharing in Seemis

There is a new feature within Seemis called the Glow Data Sharing field. This has been added so pupils and staff can opt out of having an account created in Glow. The majority of the time this field is ticked to Opt In by default. However, it has come to out attention that this isn’t always the case. Therefore, if you find that an account isn’t coming through to Glow then please check that this field is ticked.

Seemis and Glow Issue

Issue now resolved

We have identified an issue with data migrating from Seemis to Glow. This means that any new data entered in Seemis will not come through to Glow. The Glow Data Feed is also affected. The National Seemis team are looking into this matter and I’ll update this post when the issue has been resolved.

Office 2016 is now available for free download on 5 personal devices using your Glow login.

This is the case for Windows and Mac computers. Please also remember you are entitled to download the Office Apps for any tablet or smartphone.

Click on the the Office download tile on RM Unify and follow the wizard.

Seemis Glow Data Feed

If you are in an Academy School then you can update Glow with your new Year Groups and Class Sets by completing the Seemis Glow Data Feed.

Primary Schools can also do this once the new Academic Year has started.

This process is usually managed by your school office.

P1 Pupil Glow Accounts

Please be aware that a problem has been detected with all our P1 Glow Accounts for pupils that attended an Aberdeenshire Nursery.

These accounts are causing an error and can be found in the School Transfer Log in the Management Console.

Seemis and Glow are currently working on a fix and once resolved I will e-mail all schools.

Until then I am afraid that calls cannot be logged for CC4 access or Glow access.

Glow Data Feed in Seemis (Office Staff)

Last year we were lucky because the National Seemis team pulled through all the Year Groups and Class Sets to Glow.

This meant that it was easy to view usernames for all Year Groups and Class Sets.

It was possible to bulk reset passwords.

To make this possible you will need to action this in the Glow Data feed in Seemis.
