Accessing the day

 

Housekeeping
There are no fire alarms planned for the day, if you hear an alarm , follow the emergency exits signs and meet up in the area at the back of the school for registration.

Registration
Enter through the Student entrance (marked Delegate access on map below), which is to the right of the main entrance entrance and follow signs to the area where you will sign in (register) and be given your workshop times.

Please do not use the Main entrance 

Plan Inverurie Academy ground floor

Once signed in you will be in the Learning Plaza, please take time to interact with the many professionals who have given up their time to show to you how they are working with Aberdeenshire schools and staff and ask lots of questions!

Keynote Presentations
The Keynote presentations will take part in the custom built Auditorium , situated on the ground floor. Please look out for signs to direct you to the area.

Workshops
The workshops will be held in classrooms on the first floor. Please follow signs to this area. Please sit anywhere in the classroom, but please fill up the front seats first! You will choose four workshops, two before lunch and two after.

One of the workshops must be the Learning Plaza where presenters will be waiting to share information with you, and some will have mini presentations prepared

Learning Plaza
This is the area close to the registration and canteen area where we have arranged for a great variety of exhibits for you that represent a great number of the services available or soon to be available across all of our schools. Please take time to visit each stand to gather as much information as you can for your school and cluster.

Please note in the Learning Plaza in addition to the many digital services companies there is also an area where teachers and students from primary and secondary schools will showcase what they have been working on in their classrooms
