Jim McLean and Julia Rickard are your resident Education Support Officers for Digital Pedagogy in Aberdeenshire. What Jim doesn’t know about technology in education, isn’t worth knowing! He has been an ESO for over 10 years and prior to that was a computing science teacher at Mearns Academy. Julia is not long out of class and been with the team for 2 years now. She has been a teacher for 20 years, 13 of which as a teaching Head, rolling out 1-1 iPads across her school and embracing technology in the classroom.
Joining Jim and Julia is Lisa Stephen the LoveLearning Project Officer. Lisa is our DPIA expert providing schools with support and advice while they navigate the tricky but vital path of data protection.
Not only have they put together the day for you but they will also have their own stand in the Learning Plaza. Come up and say hello, play with some toys that you can borrow from the LoveLearning Lending Library, see what CLPL LoveLearning has on offer for the rest of the session, and learn about the STEM transition project and how you can take part.
