We are the RAiSE (Raising Aspirations in Science Education) Primary Science Development Officers for Aberdeenshire.
RAiSE is a programme of The Wood Foundation, Education Scotland, Scottish Government and participating local authorities which aims to enhance the delivery of STEM education in primary schools.
Our showcase will explore what STEM learning experiences look like in the primary classroom and how technologies can be used to support and enhance STEM learning and teaching. Our showcase will include a number of projects that we are supporting the delivery of, including the First Lego League (Energy Skills Partnership (ESP)) and ‘The Weird and Wonderful World of Mosquitoes (Reece Lab) as well as some of the resources that we have used with primary school practitioners to develop and deliver engaging and motivating STEM learning experiences.
