Their programmes cater to everyone, from early years to secondary school, and beyond.

Workshop: TechFest Takeaway

TechFest aims to ensure everyone has the knowledge and confidence to deliver STEM activities in schools.  From volunteers to teachers, we aim to give everyone the support they need and the opportunity to ‘try it before you deliver it’.

This workshop will utilise TechFest’s programmes as the tools to cover a diverse range of STEM curriculum linked topics with a take away resource as your gift until we can meet again.

Introduction to:

  • Isaac’s Big Idea:  Magnet activity.
  • Engineer ‘n’ Our Lives:– Power House Challenge. The aim of the Engineer ’n’ Our Lives programme is to help students appreciate that the skills they are learning in school are used by the engineers in the workplace today. Without engineers we would not have any products only materials.
  • Space into Energy: Insulation Activity.
  • STEM on the Farm:  Entrepreneurs on the Farm.
