STEM-O-VATORS
There are a few places remaining on the Stem-o-vators FREE Climate Smarter project for primary and secondary schools in Aberdeenshire thanks to funding from Aviva Investors, Par Equity and Shell.
This is a fantastic opportunity for schools to receive a FREE kit of STEM equipment worth ~£350, allowing them to deliver 18 practical lessons on renewable energy, water, forestry and smart technology (using the micro:bit). Teachers will receive in-person CPD training to go through the equipment and the lessons are supported by PowerPoint, worksheets and videos on our digital learning platform. Pupils will be invited to showcase their Climate Smarter work at a Celebration of STEM event in Inverness. Please see the attached leaflet and website for more information on the project. The project is aimed at P5 – S2 pupils.
