Remembrance Day

Today the school gathered in the garden to mark Remembrance Day. P4-7 lead proceedings. They read out an explanation of what, why and how we mark Remembrance Day. Some members of the class also read John Macrae’s poem “In Flanders Fields”.

Before the two minute silence at 11am we added the poppies we made yesterday to a wreath stretching around a tree in the centre of the school garden.
