Pupil Council

The Pupil Council system is intended to provide a formal means of direct and meaningful dialogue between pupils, students, staff and the wider community of Kemnay Academy.

The aims of the council are:

1. To provide a channel of communication through which pupils can contribute their ideas and affect decisions relating to all aspects of school life.
2. To enhance inter-personal relationships within the school community through an increased awareness of, and commitment, the aims and values held within Kemnay Academy.
3. To contribute to school ethos through an increased commitment to, and identification with, the school and its aims.
4. To provide an opportunity for individual and corporate leadership and team building.

Senior students provide a link between the Pupil Council and the Parent Council.
