At the two week Easter holidays there was unfortunate water damage that has caused the nursery children to be in the small hall for a temperately small amount of time. Some children enjoyed working in the hall while some on the other hand did not.
From the help of six p7 prefects at the school it was not so difficult and everything was flowing very easily.
Luckily the Nursery are back in there class room , but may be back in the hall due to some plumbing will maybe still be needed.

Nursery go to Deans
Recently the nursery have been to Deans Shortbread Factory in Huntly and have been learning about how shortbread is made in the factory.
They walked all the way to deans and back and had to wear orange vests for safety. They got their photo taken with Shorty the piper of Deans ( Deans mascot). They really enjoyed their trip and learnt a lot about how shortbread is made.
Achievement stars
Anneliese, in primary six, did a sponsored swim for the caring bears charity. This took place at the Huntly swimming pool where she swam thirty lengths in only twenty minutes. Anneliese raised £400 that will go towards helping a family in Africa. She has done a very good job and this will make a big difference to a family’s life.
Liam in primary six marched in the Remembrance parade in Huntly with the Huntly And District Pipe Band. Liam is in the band and plays the snare drum. He performs in lots of games in the summer.
Finally Scoutt also in P6 went to Dunoon to a world championship for highland dancing. She got seven medals and her best was a 5th.
We may update you on more achievements throughout the year.
Crikey Moses!
Parents and pupils enjoyed watching Primary 3’s peformance of Crikey Moses. The performance included some super songs.
In the play we saw how the baby Moses was hidden by his parents in the bullrushes and found by the pharoahs daughter who brought him up as her own child.
Primary 3 pupils and staff had worked very hard to produce the excellent performance. Well done!
