RNCI visit

This afternoon, the school welcomed Alison from the Royal Northern Countryside Alliance. She spoke to the school about where our food comes from.

  • Milking cows have spots – Oliver A
  • There are more sheep than people in Scotland – Murron
  • Cows have 4 stomachs – Emelie
  • Sheep have a red mark on their bottom. This tells us how many lambs they are having – Ava
  • Pigs don’t like going down ramps – Henry

We are looking forward to Term 4 when she is going to bring some animals to visit Finzean School.

P4-7 Class

Guy Fawkes

For bonfire night we made firework safety posters, wanted pictures and information posters as well. We felt happy and fascinated learning about this celebration and can’t wait for next year’s job.

Our Class Library

In the room next door to our classroom is what is going to be part of our new library! One of our tasks was to take out books we wanted and put them in a bookshelf in alphabet order. We’ll Continue Reading →

my learning -Finlay

In this week we have done things like feelings. We drew a  picture of the feelings and what it feels inside you.

We also did things on Jacobite’s and we made a tartan army.

In maths we did number stories.

What I did this week (Week 8)

This week, I learned a lot and I will share it all you wit you in this post.

First of all, we did a lot of work about feelings and it was quite enjoyable.

We also did some tartan kilts, which were only finished today.

In maths, My math group learned about negative numbers.

I also did a two poems about an mystery item. (It was actually a perfume bottle!)
(This magical item was forged thousands of years ago by the god of fire, Hephaestus.
The item is used as a torch and it has been said to have a never-extinguishing flame.
It is useful in many different occasions such as lighting a campfire, going hunting
in the dark woods and going deep diving in the bright blue ocean.
Yes, you read that correctly, this item is also waterproof.)
(This item is a weapon of mass destruction when it comes to archery.
Years ago, the god of war, Ares, forged this arrow holder that contains infinite capacity
for ammunition to put inside your bow. It can also dispense flame tipped arrow to
light your opponents ablaze.)
