P1-4 worked really hard together to make an Egyptian Shaduf.

We had fun making a pyroclastic volcano.

This week we look at the Scottish Poem “Three Craws”  We worked with a friend and acted out the poem using puppets. We listed to some traditional Scottish songs including Coulter’s Candy and Ye Canny Shove Yer Grannie.

This week the class have been looking at the layers of the earth, volcanoes, earthquakes and tectonic plates.

P1-4 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the skills zone today. Some of the skills they used today were  communicating, collaborating, creativity and leading. I was particularly impressed with the leading skill as they decided they could manage the library area themselves! Great work P1-4.

We are very proud of Elliott, Sarah and Zara whose pictures went through to the final stages of the competition.
Huge congratulations to Sarah who won her age group and was the overall primary winner for Aberdeenshire.

This week we  practised the play, I am Scar. We also did some work on the earth like the mantle and the crust.

We also did a poem about things like a ping pong ball and that it could be a dragon egg.

This week we did a dress rehearsal on Thursday  and seeing all of the costumes was fun but I think my costume was one of the best. We have also just started a Topic about the Earths layers. There are four layers I have learnt so far.
