&#8211; October 22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In numeracy this term, we have been working on place value either with 2-digit, 3-digit or 4-digit numbers.\u00a0 We invited our parents\/carers into a learning workshop to share our place value learning.\u00a0 We worked collaboratively to build models using 1s, 10s and 100s dienes.\u00a0 Our parents\/carers then supported the children to total the value of our model, focusing on grouping in tens to support our counting.\u00a0 In beyond number we have been learning about 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes and thinking about their we have been focusing on developing our independence in our writing and knowing what can support us; word bank books and independent white boards.\u00a0 We have also been focusing on making our writing legible and knowing when to use full stops and capital letters.\u00a0 We are also developing our reading for enjoyment through daily \u2018everybody reading in class\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In health and wellbeing we have worked together to create our class charter based on our school visions and values.\u00a0 We have also been learning about growth topic we have been learning about Helping our Community.\u00a0 The children came up with lots of learning activities so have been learning about who helps us in our community and we had a parent GP come in and explain their roll to the children and gave them the opportunity to use some medical equipment.\u00a0 The children also suggested helping their community by organising a litter pick-up.\u00a0 We therefore went out into the village and collected lots of litter from our walk.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-720\"
