We heard poetry recitals and traditional songs, listened to music on piano and bagpipes, watched highland dancing and saw some wonderful artwork based on a Scottish theme. The children demonstrated courage and resilience, learning and then reciting their poems to a supportive, respectful and enthusiastic audience. We ended our afternoon with shortbread and a couple of ceilidh dances.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a snapshot of our afternoon.
