Rights Respecters – Playground Leaders

Article 31 Every child has the right to rest, relax, play and to take part in cultural and creative activities.

The Rights Respecting committee have been discussing how to make play better in the playground. They surveyed pupils to find out what their favourite games were. The Respecters will take turns to be Playground Games Leaders. Their role will be to help Miss Ella take equipment out of the shed, organise games, and help to make sure everyone knows game rules. The group are excited to build their social intelligence meta-skills.

Pupil Council Talent Show

We had great fun on Wednesday afternoon, celebrating the wide variety of talent we have at Braemar School. We had musicians, dancers and magicians to entertain us and the audience were fantastic listeners. Nursery children came along to enjoy the show too!

Here are a few highlights from the show:

Piper singing

Charlotte explaining about her dog training

Kayleigh and Zeera on ukulele

Andrew’s music

Jamie on chanter

Lily, Edith and Scarlett dancing

Oscar and Lucas magic act

Angus on glockenspiel

Charlotte dancing

Well done to the Pupil Council for organising the event and presenting on the day.
