Research strongly suggests that there is no inherent difference between girls and boys which should limit their interests, capabilities or ambitions. And yet,\u00a0 subject choice, and many subsequent work and life choices, are highly gendered.By reflecting and making small adjustments to everyday practice we can start to make a difference in providing equality of opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IGBE literature review and webinar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"download-icon\" src=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/images\/icons\/pdf-icon.png\" alt=\"PDF File\" \/><a class=\"pdf\" title=\"PDF file: Literature Review\" href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/media\/as0hl3fz\/sci38-igb-a-literature-review.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">literature review<\/a> gives an overview of the relevant theory and research, with points for professional discussion and ideas for practice (2019).
