If you\u2019re not happy with how we respond to your complaint, <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.equalityadvisoryservice.com\/\">contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS)<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n<h4>Technical information about this website&#8217;s accessibility<\/h4>\n<p>We are committed to making this website accessible, in accordance with the <u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislation.gov.uk\/uksi\/2018\/852\/contents\/made\">Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018<\/a><\/u>.\u00a0 This website is partially compliant with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/WCAG21\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1<\/span><\/a>\u00a0AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.<\/p>\n<h4>Non accessible content<\/h4>\n<p>We listed all our content that is not accessible:<\/p>\n<h4>Documents<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Some of our PDF and Word documents don&#8217;t meet accessibility standards.\u00a0 For example some may be scanned PDFs or they may not be marked up so they are accessible to a screen reader.\u00a0 This fails WCAG2.1 success criteria 4.1.2 (name, role value), 1.4.5 (images of text) and 1.4.9 (images of text &#8211; no exception).<\/li>\n<li>PDFs and other documents published before 23rd September 2018 are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legislation.gov.uk\/uksi\/2018\/952\/regulation\/4\/made\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations <\/span><\/a>\u00a0if they are not essential to providing our services.\u00a0 We will work to make sure that any new key documents meet accessibility standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Headings<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>On some pages there are empty headings or heading structure isn&#8217;t logical which may confuse people using a screen reader.\u00a0 This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.3.1 (information and relationships).<\/li>\n<li>We plan to fix issues with heading on all pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Images and videos<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Some images don&#8217;t have a text alternative or a meaningful one so people using a screen reader can&#8217;t access the information.\u00a0 This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1(non-text content).<\/li>\n<li>Not all pre-recorded videos on this website have captions.\u00a0 This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.2 (captions &#8211; pre-recorded).<\/li>\n<li>We plan to add meaningful alternative text to all images.\u00a0 We also plan to add captions to pre-recorded videos or provide information in these videos in a different format, for example as text.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Links<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Some links don&#8217;t make sense when read on its own (for example &#8216;here&#8217; or &#8216;click here&#8217;).\u00a0 On some pages the same link text is used for links going to different destinations, so people might not know the difference.\u00a0 This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.4(link purpose &#8211; in context).<\/li>\n<li>On some pages links within text are identified only by colour and they are mission additional visual cues such as underline.\u00a0 This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.1 (use of colour).<\/li>\n<li>We plan to make all links accessible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How we tested this website<\/h4>\n<p>This website was last tested on 19th May 2020.\u00a0 We performed automated and manual accessibility tests.<\/p>\n<h4>Date of statement<\/h4>\n<p>04\/06\/2020<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>All links and information are correct at time of writing.
