Ms Thornton visits us every week for two terms each year to teach all classes about music and recorder skills.  This year we have been learning about musical notation with her.

Mrs Grey visits every week too, to teach some pupils how to play the piano.

P1,2,3 have been learning songs in class about the rainforest and Fairtrade.

P4,5 have been listening to and evaluating different types of music.  They used the voice, percussion instruments, mime and dance to as part of an assembly.

P6,7 have been making their own lyrics to songs.

In 2011 P4-7 have also been learning songs with Ms Watt and singing together in a weekly choir.
