Saint Andrews Day in the Nursery

On Friday the nursery celebrated Saint Andrews day.  The children and been invited to wear a touch of tartan. P6 pupils provided the entertainment. Aiden played the accordion, Lucas played the chanter and  Logan  recited a Scottish poem.  The nursery pupils made stovies and ate them all. They even made their own tartan and their own pictures. After that they also did some scottish dancing and a fiddler also came in and played some tunes: they really enjoyed it. It sounded really good and fun. They  had an amazing time.  they said that their stovies were fine.

Nursery

Tomorrow the Nursery children are getting their teeth varnished by a dentist. So if you go down to the nursery tomorrow their teeth will be very nice and clean.

They have also been making their own obstacle courses because the obstacle courses that the teachers had made were apparently too easy for them.  They were very pleased with their results and had great fun navigating their obstacle courses .

The nursery pupils have also been looking for patterns around the school. They saw patterns outside in the playground and in the school.

Nursery Halloween Party

Wooooooooooo!  On Friday the 1st of November the nurseries had a Halloween party. They all wore fancy dress

They dooked for apples and made them into toffee apples. They were also tried to eat a donut dangling on a piece of string; they got lovely and sticky! They also danced, they made halloween craft and got all sticky and messy in the process.They had lots of fun and really enjoyed some nice Halloween themed party food!

Pirate Black Beard

Nursery received a letter  from Pirate Black Beard. They went down into the woods and  went on a hunt for treasure  because pirate black beard said he had left some treasure in the wooods for them.

On Friday they are having a pirate parade, and will be coming o the nursery in a pirate costume to go on a parade. They have  been really busy this week and are looking forward to going on their walk and playing with their new treasure.
