P4/5 have been learning about an artist called James Rizzi in art class recently. He was a famous artist who died just before Christmas. He painted buildings, cars, aeroplanes and much more. He did pop art. Pop art is a style of painting that is more like cartoons than real things. He drew people. On his people he would give them big eyes. We painted people in class using the James Rizzi style. Now we have a big display. Some have green skin others have blue, purple, yellow,orange or red.
