This coming year 2018/2019 we aim to:-
• Encourage the whole school community to work in partnership to promote the understanding and use of mathematical language in context.
• Provide learning and teaching experiences in order to enable a greater exposure to mathematical language.
• Provide progressive feedback to determine the pace and nature of learning experiences, promoting a positive attitude towards mathematics.
• Encourage the whole school community to work in partnership to promote the values of science in a curriculum geared towards Learning, Life & Work.
• Promote a positive learning climate, good relationships, collaborative practice and a shared language of learning.
• Deliver high quality learning and teaching with effective feedback being an integral part of the process.
• Continue to develop the consistency of marking of assessed pupil’s writing throughout the year.
• Further improve Health & Wellbeing, teaching 2hrs of P.E. each week focussing on transferable core skills /significant aspects of learning.
• Implement Roman Catholic learning materials ‘This Is Our Faith’ and ‘God’s Loving Plan.’
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, encouraging them to work alongside us in improving our school and working within our school to help our children achieve.
