The importance of your personal statement cannot be underestimated \u2013 it is often the deciding factor as to whether you are accepted or not.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Competition is fierce and many of the students you are competing with have similar or better qualifications so it has to be of a very high standard.\u00a0 Universities are no longer just looking for grades, but a combination of grades, skills and experiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You only write ONE personal statement for all FIVE courses. (This is particularly challenging if you are applying for a range of courses).<\/p>\n

You are limited to 4000 characters or 47 lines, including blank lines and spaces.<\/p>\n

UCAS uses \u2018Copycatch\u2019 software to detect plagiarism.\u00a0 This could result in your application being rejected entirely.\u00a0 Your statement must be your own work.<\/p>\n
