Suitable clothing – warm clothing for the journey but lighter clothing will be more suitable for the day.  The current weather forecast shows that the temperature will be 21 degrees and cloudy.  Protection from the sun is still required so  PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE PLENTY SUN CREAM AND USE IT REGULARLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY.  Sunglasses would also be advised.

Travelling rug – or something similar for the overnight bus journey.

Mobile phone and power bank.  It would be useful to make sure phones are fully charged before turning up  on Tuesday night but phones will probably be used for a full 24 hours so it would be sensible to have a backup power supply.

Packed breakfast – take something to eat once we have arrived at Alton Towers.

Medication – anyone requiring to take medication should ensure they have enough supplies for the day.

Cash or contactless card (or mobile phone or watch if they support this feature).  This will be required for any snacks or food during the day and something to eat on the way home.  There are also souvenir shops but it’s worth remembering that any purchases have to be carried around the park and also taken on the bus for the return journey.

Bags and belongings can be left securely on the coach during our time in the park.  Lockers are available in the park but there is a charge of £5 or £10 depending on the size.
